There are various alternative ways to access medical help during the hours the surgery is closed should this be required. These include:

Out of hours – NHS 111

NHS 111 is available at any time, everyday of the week, and can be accessed for medical advice and treatment either by ringing 111 or online at 111.nhs.uk. NHS 111 will advise as ti the most appropriate service for your needs. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles. If appropriate, NHS 111 can then refer on to out of hours services at Lincoln County Hospital.

Your local pharmacy

Pharmacists can provide advice and over the counter treatments for common illnesses and conditions that do not require a consultation with a nurse or doctor. Please visit How your pharmacy can help - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

A&E or 999

If you require urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed, be aware that A&E and 999 services are available.
